Attorney Profiles

Elizabeth I. Van Tassel was admitted to the Bar in 1991. She is licensed to practice in the Indiana and U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. She received her Associate degree in Nursing from Indiana University, her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Arts from the College of St. Francis and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University (magna cum laude).

Liz was a Cale J. Holder Merit Scholar , and Note Development Editor for the Indiana Law Review (1990-1991). She is a member of the Indianapolis, Hamilton County, Indiana State and American Bar Associations and has served as President of Step Ahead of Hamilton County, Inc.

In addition to her legal education, Liz carries medical experience as a Registered Nurse, a valuable asset in evaluating medical issues in civil litigation including medical malpractice.
